The Decor: There are a few more things that can be aesthetically pleasing than a big, beautiful set of curtains which hang from your window. Curtains are available in all different shapes, sizes, colours and materials, so it is important to have something neutral, or matching to your home decors. Here are some guiding design principles that can assist you in selecting the right drapes for your beautiful home: Harmony and Unity - In general, you can achieve a better result if you choose curtains that can bring a sense of unity and harmony to the room in question. This is often a function of taking the time to recognize the architectural style with which you are working and then trying to make the most of it – as opposed to covering it over or just pretending it isn’t there. You can also harmonize your surroundings by choosing colors that are already a part of the room’s decor, especially those used in accent pillows. Also, crisp folds tend to be more pleasing to the eye than excessive draping.
